Tori Amos at Artpark | August 4, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · April 30, 2026

Few artists have spent the last three decades making rage sound this melodic. Tori Amos brings her In Times of Dragons Tour to Artpark’s Mainstage Theater in Lewiston on Tuesday, August 4 — a 35-date North American summer run that lands here fresh off her biggest European tour in a decade, one that filled rooms like London’s Royal Albert Hall and the Paris Olympia earlier this spring. Show time is 7:30 PM, with Baltimore-based indie polymath Bartees Strange opening.

The timing is the story. In Times of Dragons — Amos’s 18th studio album, released May 1 via Fontana/Universal — has drawn the kind of critical heat her work hasn’t generated in years. Mojo called it “a parable for Trumpian times.” Slant ran its review under the headline “Slaying the Patriarchy.” The record is a concept work of real ambition: a metaphorical narrative about democracy, transformation, and the particular fury of a woman who has been paying very close attention. Amos, who helped found the survivor-support network RAINN in 1994 and served as its first spokesperson, has never treated political detachment as part of her brand. She delivers this one with the conviction of someone who’s earned the right to be angry.

She also isn’t coasting on the catalog. For this tour she’s joined by longtime collaborators Jon Evans on bass and Ash Soan on drums, working new material alongside career highlights — which means whether you come for Little Earthquakes or for whatever In Times of Dragons asks of you, this is no museum-piece victory lap. Amos at a piano in a room this size has always been the ideal way to see her, and the Mainstage delivers exactly that scale.

About the Venue

Artpark in Lewiston is one of Western New York’s most distinctive live-music settings. The Mainstage Theater is an indoor room within Earl W. Brydges Artpark State Park, set above the Niagara River Gorge — geography that makes showing up early a genuinely good idea. Note that this show is in the indoor Mainstage Theater, not the larger outdoor amphitheater on the same grounds. Plan accordingly.
