Tori Amos at Artpark | August 4, 2026

Tori Amos brings her In Times of Dragons Tour to the Artpark Mainstage Theater in Lewiston on Tuesday, August 4 — a 35-date North American summer run arriving fresh off a European leg that included stops at London’s Royal Albert Hall and Paris’s Olympia. Show time is 7:30 PM, with Baltimore-based indie polymath Bartees Strange opening in a solo set.

The timing matters. In Times of Dragons — her 18th studio album, released May 1 on Fontana Records — is receiving the kind of critical attention her work hasn’t commanded since her 1990s peak. Slant called it “Slaying the Patriarchy”; Mojo described it as “a parable for Trumpian times”; multiple critics have cited it as her most socially connected record in decades. The album is a concept work of considerable ambition: a metaphorical narrative about democracy, transformation, and the particular fury of a woman who has been paying close attention. Amos, who co-founded RAINN in 1994 and has never made political indifference part of her brand, delivers it with the conviction of someone who has earned the right to be angry.

Reports from the European leg suggest she is not coasting on legacy. Reviews from the Paris Olympia date describe arrangements that are “quite radical” — songs stripped to their cores, reshaped, made newly urgent. The band includes Jon Evans on bass, Ash Soan on drums, and a three-vocalist harmonic section that accounts for much of the recorded album’s density. She is not leaning on the catalog comfort zone, which means whether you come for Little Earthquakes or for whatever In Times of Dragons demands from you, this is not a museum piece tour.

About the Venue

Artpark in Lewiston is one of Western New York’s more distinctive live music settings. The Mainstage Theater is a 2,400-seat room within Earl W. Brydges Artpark State Park, perched above the Niagara River Gorge — the kind of geography that makes arriving early a reasonable idea. This show is in the Mainstage Theater specifically, not the larger outdoor amphitheater on the same grounds. Plan accordingly.
