Forty years have passed since Def Leppard’s Hysteria arrived in 1987, sold more than 25 million copies worldwide, produced seven hit singles, and established what a British hard rock band could accomplish when it committed fully to melodic pop crossover and MTV saturation. Adrenalize, a tribute quintet dedicated to recreating the “swaggering, electrifying stage personae of the Lads from Sheffield,” brings their anniversary celebration to Daryl’s House in Pawling for a show on Friday, February 19.

The band’s name signals their investment before a note is played: Adrenalize took it from Def Leppard’s fifth studio album, which debuted at No. 1 on both UK and US charts. The lineup — George Tsalikis on lead vocals, Damiano Christian and Jared Cannata on guitar, Lenny Lee on bass, and Lee Nelson on drums, with all five contributing to the harmonies — performs approximately 22 songs spanning the Def Leppard catalog. Confirmed selections include “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Foolin’,” “Animal,” “Armageddon It,” “Love Bites,” “Hysteria,” “Rocket,” and “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” alongside deeper album cuts for listeners who’ve put in time beyond the singles. Multi-platinum engineer Peter Moshay has described the experience: the band “brings a high energy, professional and totally fun show” where “the audience sang along all night to all their favorite Def Leppard hits.” Adrenalize maintained an active touring schedule across the Northeast and Midwest throughout 2026, with confirmed dates in Rhode Island, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
For the record: Def Leppard was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, has sold over 100 million records globally, and has generated $514 million in ticket revenue since 1980 — the highest of any UK rock band over a 42-year span. Their dominance in the 1980s, anchored by Pyromania in 1983 and then Hysteria four years later, was built on blending metal’s drive with pop melody and an MTV presence that reached mainstream audiences well outside the rock-radio lane. Anniversary tribute shows exist in that shadow; the best of them find ways to make that history feel present rather than simply preserved.
