Brit Floyd at Shea’s Performing Arts Center | April 14, 2027

By Marc Delacroix · September 10, 2026

Pink Floyd’s Animals, the 1977 record that traded the cosmic introspection of Dark Side of the Moon for something drawn from Orwell’s Animal Farm, exploring themes of power, inequality, and social division, turns 50 in 2027, and Brit Floyd arrives at Shea’s Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, April 14, to mark the anniversary with a full performance of the album alongside the hits that have come to define their touring productions.

About the Show

The Animals 50 tour is Brit Floyd’s 2027 production, the latest in a sustained run of anniversary programs working through the Pink Floyd catalog: 2023’s Dark Side of the Moon 50th, 2024’s Division Bell retrospective, 2025’s Wish You Were Here celebration, and the current 2026 production pairing Dark Side of the Moon with The Wall. Animals is the thornier entry in that sequence, less commercially familiar than its predecessor albums, more confrontational in its themes of power and inequality, and built from longer, more demanding compositions. It is also, for a certain kind of Floyd listener, the album they’d argue means the most. The decision to mount a full anniversary production around it reflects confidence in both the material and the audience.

The set performs the album in its entirety, then extends into “Time,” “Money,” “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” “Comfortably Numb,” and “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2.” The production is characteristically elaborate: immersive visuals, flying inflatables, theatrical staging, and an award-winning laser light show. Rolling Stone has called Brit Floyd “The World’s Premier Pink Floyd Experience.” Since forming in 2011, the group has logged more than 1,600 concerts across 40-plus countries and performed for more than one million fans globally. Past productions have incorporated original Pink Floyd touring musicians, including bassist Guy Pratt, saxophonist Scott Page, and keyboardist Harry Waters.

This marks the group’s third consecutive year at Shea’s, following shows in April 2025 and February 2026, a relationship that has made Buffalo a reliable annual stop on the Brit Floyd touring calendar.

Shea’s Performing Arts Center sits at 650 Main Street in Buffalo and holds 3,019 — a proper civic theater, built for the kind of production where the staging and speaker placement do as much work as the musicians. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
