Buddy Guy at Kleinhans Music Hall | July 18, 2026
If you have been waiting for an excuse to drive to Buffalo, this is it. Buddy Guy is bringing his Buddy Guy 90 tour to Kleinhans Music Hall on Saturday, July 18, 2026 — his first-ever appearance at the Symphony Circle concert hall, more than 57 years after his last Buffalo shows back in 1969. The date lands twelve days before his actual 90th birthday on July 30, which makes this less a concert and more a hometown welcome for one of the last living architects of electric blues.
About Buddy Guy
Guy pioneered the Chicago West Side electric blues sound that shaped just about every guitarist you can name — Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Richards, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and John Mayer have all pointed back to him. He is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee with nine Grammy Awards plus a Lifetime Achievement Grammy, 38 Blues Music Awards, and a 2025 album, “Ain’t Done with the Blues,” that pulled in Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Joe Bonamassa. He told NPR earlier this year he plans to keep playing as long as his fingers can move. Expect classics like “Damn Right, I’ve Got the Blues” and “Feels Like Rain” alongside stories from a career nobody alive can match.
Venue Info
Kleinhans Music Hall sits at 3 Symphony Circle in Buffalo — a Symphony Circle concert hall built for the kind of acoustic detail that gets lost in a sticky-floored club. That is a big part of why this show matters: Buddy Guy in a real listening room, with sightlines and sound built for serious music, is a genuinely different experience than catching him at a festival or roadhouse. Show time is 7:00 PM. If you are coming from elsewhere in Western NY or driving the Thruway from further east, build in extra time and plan your dinner stop before you hit downtown.
Tickets & Pricing
Tickets start at $55 (all-in, fees included) for what Soul of Buffalo is billing as “the BIGGEST BLUES show of 2026 in our hometown.” Box Office: (716) 885-5000.
