If Penn’s Peak is not already on your short list of venues worth the drive, let Don Jovi be the reason you finally make the trip. The mountaintop concert hall in Jim Thorpe, PA, has been pulling in crowds from across the region and beyond since 1998 — and on Saturday, October 3, 2026, it hosts Don Jovi — The Definitive Bon Jovi Tribute. Showtime is 8:00 PM.
About Don Jovi
Don Jovi is a New York-based tribute band built around one goal: recreating the full Bon Jovi concert experience, from the anthems to the arena-rock energy. Bon Jovi are Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees and one of the most successful rock acts of all time, and Don Jovi takes that legacy seriously.
Lead vocalist Don Chaffin — a veteran performer with credits that include Voices of Extreme, Red Lamb, Ram Jam, Riot Act, Road Crew, and American Mafia — delivers a vocal resemblance to Jon Bon Jovi that audiences have called “more than just a band, it’s an experience.” The rest of the lineup — Sean Tarr, Chris Tristram, Bill Chamberlain, and Matt Ricci — are industry veterans who bring the kind of tightness that makes a tribute feel like the real thing. If you grew up with Bon Jovi, this is a night back to the best of it.
About Penn’s Peak
Penn’s Peak sits on a ridgeline in the Pocono Mountains with a 50-mile panoramic view — and yes, you can see it from inside the venue. Built in 1998, the room features a spacious dance floor, lofty ceilings, and a rustic character that feels more roadhouse-in-the-mountains than generic concert hall. Roadies, the on-site restaurant and bar, means you can eat before the show without leaving the property. At roughly 1,800-person capacity, it is big enough to feel like a proper concert and small enough that there is no real bad spot on the floor.
