(Hed) P.E. at The Song & Dance | May 11, 2026

By Meg Andersen · April 15, 2026

If you have been waiting for (hed) p.e. to come through Syracuse in a room that actually matches the energy they bring, Monday, May 11 at The Song & Dance is your night. Two hundred people. 115 E Jefferson Street, downtown. A band that has been tearing up rooms since 1994.

About (Hed) P.E.

(Hed) p.e. came out of Huntington Beach, California and built their reputation on G-Punk — their own term for a sound that fuses punk-rock, metal, hip-hop, and reggae into something that does not fit neatly into any radio format. Frontman Jared Gomes has been the engine behind the band for decades. They have shared stages with Papa Roach, Linkin Park, and Suicidal Tendencies, and held down dates on Ozzfest.

This run is the Still Broke In America 25 Year Anniversary Tour, which means they are playing their 2000 breakthrough album Broke in its entirety. If you know that record, you know exactly what you are getting into. If you don’t — this is a very efficient way to find out.

Support comes from Primer 55, who are playing their own 2000 debut Introduction to Mayhem in full, plus Defining 13 and Plastic Sunface rounding out the bill. Four acts in a 200-capacity bar. This is a full night.

Worth knowing: the band’s most recent album, DETOX, released on Suburban Noize Records and debuted at number one on the iTunes Metal charts in both the US and Canada.

About The Song & Dance

The Song & Dance is a bar and music venue at 115 E Jefferson St in downtown Syracuse, with a capacity of 200. It is the kind of room where you are right on top of the stage — no bad spots, no distance between you and the band. For (hed) p.e., that proximity is exactly the point.
