Lucy Dacus at UPAC Kingston | July 22, 2026
Lucy Dacus has the kind of voice that does not need a stadium — the kind that earns the room around it, line by line. On Wednesday, July 22, the Forever Is A Feeling Tour rolls into UPAC in Kingston for an 8 PM show, and if you have been waiting on an excuse to make the Hudson Valley drive this summer, here it is.
About Lucy Dacus
Dacus’s fourth studio LP, Forever Is A Feeling, dropped in March 2025 as her major label debut on Geffen and went straight to No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock and Folk/Americana charts. Rolling Stone has called her “one of the best songwriters of her generation,” and Variety described the album as “the most romantic record you might hear.” If you came to her through boygenius — the supergroup with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker — Forever Is A Feeling is the record where Dacus’s solo voice steps fully into its own. Smidley joins as support on this leg, per Songkick and Consequence.
UPAC, Kingston — Venue Notes
UPAC sits right on Broadway in uptown Kingston (601 Broadway, 12401), a 1,500-seat theater that has quietly become one of the best rooms in the Hudson Valley for songwriter-driven nights. It is big enough to feel like an event, small enough that you can actually hear every word — which is exactly the size you want for a Lucy Dacus show. Uptown Kingston is walkable once you park, with restaurants and bars within a few blocks of the theater if you want to make dinner part of the trip. Late July on the Thruway means weekend traffic and summer construction, so build in cushion on the way up.
Tickets & Pricing
Reserved seating tiers: $40.50 / $50.50 / $60.50 / $70.50. Worth noting — $1 from every ticket sold goes to organizations serving queer and trans youth through The Ally Coalition partnership, so the price tag does a little extra work on the way out the door.
