If you have not been paying attention to what Spacey Jane has been building out of Perth, Australia, the short version: three albums, all of them significant. Their debut, Sunlight (2020), topped Triple J’s annual album poll. Here Comes Everybody (2022) debuted at #1 on the ARIA Charts and made them Triple J’s most-played artist that year. Their breakout single “Booster Seat” won the ARIA Award for Song of the Year.
The third record, If That Makes Sense, arrived in May 2025 on AWAL, produced by Mike Crossey — whose credits include albums for Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice, and The 1975. It debuted at #2 on the ARIA Charts and picked up a nomination for Australian Album of the Year at the J Awards.
