Treaty Oak Revival doesn’t sound like a band that planned to be here. The Odessa, Texas quintet built its name on brawny, bar-tested West Texas rock with just enough twang to keep one boot in country — and somehow rode that exact, uncompromising sound to a No. 1 album. On Thursday, September 24, 2026, that same swagger lands on the shore of Onondaga Lake when the West Texas Degenerate Tour pulls into Syracuse.
About Treaty Oak Revival
The band’s West Texas Degenerate, released in late November 2025, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts at once — a double-crown that tells you exactly how hard this record is to file. Fronted by Sam Canty, the group leans into a sound that’s more sweat than polish: loud, guitar-forward, and built for a crowd that wants to lose its voice by the encore. They’ve spent the run independent, unsigned, and stubborn about it, which only makes the chart numbers land harder.
Syracuse falls on the second leg of the West Texas Degenerate Tour, a run the band expanded in May 2026 to stretch through November. Don’t expect a quiet opening stretch, either — William Clark Green and Ben Quad are along for this date, two acts that bring their own teeth to a bill that doesn’t need help being loud.
About the Venue
The Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview — “The Amp” to Central New York regulars — opened in 2015 along the edge of Onondaga Lake, and the waterfront setting still sets it apart from the standard shed circuit. With room for roughly 17,500 between the pavilion and the lawn, it’s a big-stage venue, but a late-September evening here, with the light fading over the water behind the stage, is about as good as an outdoor show gets in this region.
Tickets & Pricing
Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster. Showtime is 7:00 PM. If you’re coming in for this one, the lawn is the move — it’s where a band like this is meant to be heard.
