Tusk at Penn’s Peak | January 22, 2027

By Meg Andersen · September 16, 2026

Tusk has spent nearly two decades performing Fleetwood Mac’s catalog, but what separates this five-piece from most tribute acts is buried in their origin story. Two of the members met on a Little League baseball field. Two more became friends in middle school band. All five have been playing together for over 40 years, and that kind of shared history does not stay offstage. Fleetwood Mac’s music was always built as much on the personal connections between its musicians as on the songs themselves, which is part of why the chemistry Tusk brings to this catalog lands differently than most tribute shows. On Friday, January 22, 2027, they play Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania.

About the Show

Active since 2008, Tusk has been crisscrossing the country performing Fleetwood Mac’s catalog — hits and deep cuts from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees’ output — with a lineup where each member is dedicated to one role in the original band. The group positions itself as “more than a tribute band,” a claim grounded in a four-decade shared history that predates the ensemble by years. Kathy Phillips handles lead vocals in the Stevie Nicks role; Scott McDonald, whose individual resume includes a win at the 2010 Lehigh Valley Singer/Songwriter Acoustic Contest, covers Lindsey Buckingham’s guitar work and harmonies; Kim Williams takes Christine McVie’s keyboard parts and vocals; Randy Artiglere plays bass as John McVie; and Tom Nelson fills the Mick Fleetwood seat behind the kit.

The performing philosophy the band returns to: “chemistry, synergy, intuition,” the kind built when musicians have spent long enough together to “anticipate and respond to each other’s subtle variations” during a live show. Their booking agency describes the result as “note-perfect renditions of both the solo and full band songs” spanning what promotional materials call “one of the greatest catalogs in rock history,” with an “electric stage presence that can only come from well over a decade touring together.” No support acts have been announced for the Penn’s Peak date.
