Warrant’s Turn Up the Good Times tour arrives in Waterloo on a Saturday night in August, booking into The Vine Showroom at del Lago Resort & Casino — a 1,400-capacity room in the Rochester / Finger Lakes region that has become one of the more credible stops in this corner of New York for established rock acts. For a band whose catalog peaked in the years when arena tickets still came with a box office queue, the intimate scale is a genuine draw.

There is a nostalgia economy built around bands like Warrant, and it sustains itself because the songs still work. AllMusic catalogued them among the biggest hair metal acts of the ’80s, and that assessment is defensible. The band’s 1989 debut, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, moved over three million copies and produced “Heaven,” which spent consecutive weeks at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. The 1990 follow-up, Cherry Pie, matched that commercial run with three top-ten tracks — and a title song so thoroughly embedded in pop culture it appeared in films, television, commercials, and Guitar Hero II. The band has sold over ten million albums worldwide.
Robert Mason has held the vocalist role since 2008. The rest of the lineup — guitarists Joey Allen and Erik Turner, bassist Jerry Dixon, drummer Steven Sweet — represents a degree of original-member continuity that matters when you’re headlining on catalog alone. Warrant’s most recent studio effort, Louder Harder Faster, dates to 2017. The Turn Up the Good Times tour runs from April through October 2026. At 1,400 capacity, this is close-quarters territory — a meaningful distinction for a band whose best-known records filled rooms three times this size.
