Penn’s Peak is one of those rooms that earns its reputation on a regular basis — 1,800 people tucked into the mountains above Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, with sightlines that make you feel like you paid for the premium seat no matter where you end up. On Thursday, May 7, Cinderella’s Tom Keifer brings #keiferband to that stage for a night that is equal parts nostalgia and proof that this guy is still doing it at full volume.
About Tom Keifer
Keifer built his name as the singer-songwriter, guitarist, and frontman of Cinderella, the hard rock band whose catalog moved 15 million records worldwide. Songs like “Don’t Know What You’ve Got (Til It’s Gone)” and “Nobody’s Fool” defined an era of arena rock, and they still hold up. With the 2021 passing of guitarist Jeff LaBar, a full Cinderella reunion is not on the table — Keifer has been clear about that. But #keiferband is not a consolation prize.
It is a seven-piece outfit featuring multiple vocalists, keyboards, and percussion, and the sets pull hard from Cinderella’s catalog while weaving in cuts from Keifer’s solo albums The Way Life Goes (2013) and Rise (2019). He has described it as “a big, loud rocking show with a lot of Cinderella hits and some tracks off of some of the solo records too.” That sounds exactly right. John Corabi & Friends opens the night.
