Dark Divine arrives at Rec Room on October 25, a Sunday night five days before the Orlando metalcore band begins a run as a supporting act on Motionless In White’s Sweat and Blood Tour. That sequencing is not incidental. A headline date gives a band room the support slot doesn’t: full set, own production, their own crowd. With their sophomore record Undead Melody (Thriller Records, May 29) behind them and a touring calendar that has been expanding through festivals and high-profile supports, this show is the last look at Dark Divine on their own terms before the larger stages take over.
About the Show
Dark Divine headlines at Rec Room on Sunday, October 25 at 6:30 p.m., with doors at 6:00 p.m. Support comes from Fire From The Gods, Outlier, Nightmares, and Thorns For Lovers. The four-piece (Anthony Martinez on vocals, Robby Lynch on guitar, Cory Scissorhands on bass, Triston Blaize on drums) channels what they describe as darkness as “a force that we are undeniably drawn to,” blending anguish with understanding through theatrical, horror-driven atmospheres. They built their initial audience through “Halloweentown,” a single that landed on SiriusXM Octane and major playlists on Spotify and Apple Music, and through a Motionless In White TikTok challenge that accumulated over 1.2 million views.
Undead Melody marks a deliberate widening of that frame. Martinez explained it plainly: “We didn’t want the only energy from this record to be somber and depressing. So we decided to flip the vibe and tap into the fun side of the macabre.” The 13-track album includes “Halloweentown II: Welcome Home” alongside cuts like “Permanent” and “Make Me Disappear.” Critical coverage has followed from New Noise Magazine (“playing all the right cards”), idobi Radio, and Outburn Magazine. The band has previously toured alongside Black Veil Brides, Ice Nine Kills, and Motionless In White, and appeared at Inkcarceration Festival 2024 and Apocalypse Fest. Vocalist Martinez also contributes guest vocals on “Blood Rave,” from Motionless In White’s 2026 album Decades. Their fanbase goes by the Reapers.
