About Rodrigo Teaser
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Teaser started performing as Michael Jackson at age nine. By 2005, Jackson’s own website had named him one of his top imitators. After Jackson’s passing in 2009, he built something bigger: Michael Lives Forever, a touring theatrical tribute that has now reached more than one million spectators across 200-plus cities, eight countries, and four continents.
The people behind the show are not just credible — they are the actual collaborators who worked with Jackson. LaVelle Smith Jr., Jackson’s choreographer for more than 20 years, directs the production. Jennifer Batten, who played lead guitar on Jackson’s world tours, has performed with it. Kevin Dorsey, Jackson’s vocal director, also supports the show. Sony Music recognizes Teaser as an official interpreter. The production played Rock in Rio in 2017 and the FIFA World Cup Fan Fest in Qatar in 2022, where Teaser performed for 40,000 people.
The Syracuse date is the second US stop on the fall 2026 leg, arriving straight out of Fort Lauderdale.
