Emo Night – Buffalo (Winter 2027 Edition) at Nietzsche’s | January 30, 2027

By Marc Delacroix · October 26, 2026

Tom From Myspace traces their origin story to “nostalgia, eyeliner, and the glow of a computer screen at 2AM” — which, as a band concept, lands somewhere between mildly ridiculous and precisely accurate, depending on how many hours you once spent encoding heartbreak into your Myspace status updates. The Buffalo-based cover band has been making the case for the latter through a running series of Emo Night events at Nietzsche’s on Allen Street, and the Winter 2027 Edition arrives on Saturday, Jan. 30, promising what each prior edition has delivered: a room full of people who still remember every word.

About the Show

Tom From Myspace draws from the early 2000s emo and pop-punk catalog — My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World, The Used — performed live by former members of the Buffalo scene. Their stated mission is unambiguous: “keep the scene alive and give fans a place to scream along to the songs that once lived on their Myspace profiles.” The band describes their own setlist as “a time machine back to the days of Warped Tour summers, neon belts, and Sharpie-covered Converse,” and the series has been proving that market exists.

Emo Night Buffalo has run through multiple documented editions since January 2025, with dates in April 2025, May 2026, and October 2026, each billed as “a full throwback party” featuring “heartbreak anthems and sing-along chaos all night long.” Past editions at Nietzsche’s have included acoustic sets from Derek Gregoire of Creating A Sinner alongside Tom From Myspace’s live sets. Photo City Presents, the Rochester-based promoter behind the series, carries a “Top Organizer” designation on Eventbrite. Tom From Myspace has played multiple Buffalo-area venues over the course of the series run, including Nietzsche’s and Buffalo Iron Works. The Winter 2027 edition is 21-and-over; valid ID is required and enforced at the door.
