Twenty years into a career built on heavy rotation and heavier tours, Five Finger Death Punch arrives at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview this July as part of a 48-city North American anniversary run — one of three New York stops on the 20th Anniversary World Tour. They are not here to revisit past glories. A tenth studio album is expected this fall, and the band has a habit of showing up with something new to prove.
About Five Finger Death Punch
The Las Vegas quintet formed in 2005 around guitarist Zoltan Bathory and vocalist Ivan Moody, and spent the years since building one of the more durable followings in modern heavy metal. Seven of their nine studio albums are certified Gold or Platinum. They have logged more than 13 billion global streams and held a Top 3 position on the Billboard Hard Rock charts for more than five consecutive years. The debut, The Way of the Fist, moved over 500,000 copies in the US; subsequent records — marked by Moody’s ability to go emotionally deeper than the genre typically demands — kept the audience. Songs like “I Refuse,” “The End” — the first track with Japanese lyrics to reach the top of US rock radio — and their career-defining cover of “Bad Company” have a permanence to them that the casual metal cycle does not.
The 20th Anniversary Tour
Supporting them through nearly the full 48-date run are Cody Jinks, the Platinum-certified Texas outlaw country artist, and Eva Under Fire, the Detroit hard rock act whose 2026 album Villainous arrives alongside this tour. The bill covers more ground than a typical metal package, and that’s the point. The tour also directs $1 per ticket toward USA Judo and USA Cycling BMX Racing & BMX Freestyle in support of Team USA’s road to the 2028 LA Olympics.

The Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview — 6,500 seats, outdoor, part of Syracuse’s ASM/Oncenter complex — is Central New York’s primary amphitheater stop for acts of this scale.
