Formed in Los Angeles in 2005, Hollywood Undead — J-Dog, Funny Man, Johnny 3 Tears, Charlie Scene, and Danny — have spent two decades building a sound that blends rap and rock in a way most bands could not sustain. Eight studio albums from Swan Songs (2008) through Hotel Kalifornia (2022), and still pushing forward: 2026 has already brought “1×1” in March and “All My Friends” featuring Jeris Johnson in May. The live show is the whole point — loud, full-band, built for a general admission floor. The crowd comes ready and they stay that way.

Empire Live at 93 North Pearl Street is the right size for this. Standing room, 1,000 cap, general admission floor — close enough to feel every bit of it. The sound system is tuned for the heavier end of the spectrum and it shows. Plant yourself center floor, 15 to 20 feet back for the best mix in the room. Bar runs along the back wall when you need a step out of the press.
Parking logistics for the night: there is no venue lot. Street parking in downtown Albany goes free after 5 PM on weekdays, which works in your favor on August 5 — but spots disappear fast when the room is full. MVP Arena Garage at 1 Market Street is $8 daily. Rideshare drops off right on North Pearl Street and honestly takes the decision off the table. For food before the show, The Hollow Bar + Kitchen is literally next door at 79 North Pearl — gastropub menu, craft cocktails, and it will be full of people with the same plan. Get there early.
