Legend Zeppelin at Montage Music Hall | August 13, 2026

Here is what separates Legend Zeppelin from most tribute acts: they are not playing the hits. They are playing the whole arc — from the raw, improvisational 1969 Zeppelin to the stadium-filling beast the band became by 1980, in chronological order, in one night. They call themselves the world’s first and only Bootleg Band, and they are bringing that concept to Montage Music Hall in downtown Rochester on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Doors at 7:00 PM. This show is 16 and up.

About Legend Zeppelin

The band’s pitch is a specific one. Rather than serving up a greatest-hits set that you could get from any competent tribute act, Legend Zeppelin moves through Led Zeppelin’s career chronologically — from 1969 through 1980 — capturing the improvisational spirit and sonic assault of each phase. The tagline is “The ONLY band that can take you back to 1969 and give you the experience of SEEING Led Zeppelin,” and the concept backs that claim up.

August Young handles lead vocals. Joshua Cuevas is on guitar — the band’s own promotional material describes his playing as “majestic, incendiary and inspired,” which tracks for anyone who knows what the Zeppelin guitar catalog demands. Cody Tarbell holds down bass, and Alexis Angel drives the rhythm section on drums. The stated goal is to play in the moment, the way Zeppelin actually did — not to recreate a setlist note-for-note, but to capture the feel of those rooms in that era.

The Venue

Montage Music Hall is a 400-capacity club in Rochester’s East End Entertainment District — right in the middle of downtown, which means easy access to dinner before or drinks after. At 400 people, it is a tight enough room that you are going to feel this show rather than just hear it. For a band working in Zeppelin’s sonic weight class, that intimacy is a feature. Plan your evening around the Rochester music scene — the East End is walkable and worth exploring before doors open.
