Little River Band at Penn’s Peak | July 11, 2026

By Meg Andersen · April 8, 2026

Penn’s Peak sits on a ridge above Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, and the view from that parking lot tells you immediately that this isn’t just another show night — it’s a trip. This summer, the mountaintop venue hosts Little River Band on their Fifty Years: Happy Anniversary Tour, with special guest Seals and Crofts 2 alongside them on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Doors at 6:00 PM, showtime at 8:00 PM.

About Little River Band

Fifty years is a remarkable run. Little River Band was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1975, built around the idea that tight vocal harmonies and sharp songwriting could find American radio — and they proved it. The band became the first act to log Top 10 US hits for six consecutive years on the Billboard charts, a record they set in 1982. Glenn Frey of The Eagles put it simply: “the best singing band in the world.”

The catalog is the argument: “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Lady,” “The Night Owls.” “Reminiscing” alone has logged over 5 million radio airplays according to BMI. The band was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2004. Lead vocalist and bassist Wayne Nelson has been the voice at center stage for over four decades, joined now by Chris Marion (keyboards), Ryan Ricks (drums), and guitarists Colin Whinnery and Bruce Wallace. They released Window to the World in October 2024 — 14 new tracks — so this isn’t just a victory lap.
