Mushroomhead / Fear Factory with Guests Nine Treasures at Sherman Theater | October 17, 2026

By Rachel Torrey · July 26, 2026

Mushroomhead has been running one of heavy metal’s most elaborate live productions since 1993 — masks, jumpsuits, three vocalists, dual percussion, and a multimedia staging operation that makes a theater feel closer to a ritual than a set. They’re co-headlining Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg on October 17 with Fear Factory, who have spent 30-plus years proving that industrial metal can be as precise as it is punishing. Together, they’re the Soul of a New War Machine Tour.

About the Show

The tour runs October 13 through November 11 across 24 US dates. Mushroomhead arrives behind Call the Devil (2024), their ninth studio album, which debuted at No. 2 on the US Current Hard Music Albums chart. The current lineup includes three vocalists — among them Jackie LaPonza, the first woman to front the band — plus dual percussion and keyboards. The band has moved over two million albums worldwide.

Fear Factory brings a different kind of momentum. The band’s signature is staccato, paint-stripping guitar work layered over electronic production, the sound that made them industrial metal pioneers. Original frontman Burton C. Bell exited in 2020; guitarist Dino Cazares, the sole original member, eventually landed on Milo Silvestro after screening over 300 vocalist candidates. Silvestro was announced in February 2023, and the band’s first studio album with him is expected in 2026. This tour is the build-up.

Opening the night is Nine Treasures, a quintet from Inner Mongolia who layer morin khuur, tovshuur, balalaika, and Mongolian throat singing into heavy metal. Formed in 2010 by vocalist and guitarist Askhan, their Metal Blade Records debut Seeking the Absolute (December 2025) was called “one of the most unique and effortlessly enjoyable albums of 2025” by Louder Sound. This is their first-ever US tour. When the announcement dropped, they said they were “very excited and grateful for the opportunity to tour in the United States” and pointed to the country’s “deep rock and metal culture.” That quote tracks.
