Nate Bargatze at KeyBank Center | August 2, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · May 6, 2026

Stand-up comedy at arena scale used to be a short list. Nate Bargatze has spent the better part of the last decade making a credible argument that he belongs on it, and the Big Dumb Eyes World Tour — stopping at KeyBank Center in Buffalo on Sunday, August 2 — is the current proof of concept. The show was rescheduled from its original August 5 date; original tickets remain valid.

About Nate Bargatze

Bargatze built his audience the patient way: 15 appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — more than any other comedian — three specials spread across Netflix and Amazon Prime, and a touring schedule that expanded in direct proportion to his word-of-mouth reputation. Then 2024 happened. He sold more than 1.2 million tickets over the course of the year, broke attendance records at more than 20 venues, and Billboard credited him with the largest single-year gross by any stand-up comedian in the history of that particular accounting. Pollstar currently ranks him the number-one touring comedian in the world, a list that also includes Coldplay and Madonna, which is either context or absurdity depending on how seriously you take Pollstar.

The Big Dumb Eyes World Tour runs 62 dates on entirely new material — the logical follow-up to his Netflix special Your Friend, Nate Bargatze, which premiered December 24, 2024, spent two weeks in the platform’s global top ten, and collected three Emmy nominations. His debut book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list. He is also scheduled to host the Primetime Emmy Awards on CBS in September, which suggests his calendar is not suffering for lack of commitment.

The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up,” a designation that is as accurate as it is strategically useful. His comedy is observational, self-deprecating, and built on domestic specificity — the kind of material that scales to a large room without falling apart. Arena acoustics are not stand-up comedy’s natural ally. Bargatze has, demonstrably, found a way to work within them.

KeyBank Center

Buffalo‘s KeyBank Center — located at One Seymour H. Knox III Plaza in downtown Buffalo — holds 19,200 in its indoor configuration, making this one of the larger commitments on a tour that is already running at scale. Doors open at 6:00 PM; the show begins at 7:00 PM.
