Tauren Wells built a catalog of seven number-one Christian radio hits over a decade, and this fall the Air1 Worship Now Tour brings him to Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater in Syracuse for one night: Sunday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m.

The tour’s own tagline is “5 Acts. 20 Nights. Thousands of Voices.” That tells you what kind of evening this is. Wells headlines an all-worship bill that includes Seph Schlueter, Gateway Worship, Sarai Rivera, and Roosevelt Stewart. Gateway Worship has spent over two decades writing, recording, and releasing music for the church. Sarai Rivera adds bilingual worship to the lineup with Spanish-language material.
The anchor is Breathe on It, Wells’ fourth studio album, released May 1, 2026 on Sparrow Records and Capitol Christian Music Group. The 16-track record peaked at No. 28 on Billboard’s Christian chart and was shaped around the idea of trusting God “with what feels unfinished.” Wells wrote much of it while he and his wife Lorna were establishing the Church of Whitestone in Austin, Texas. Their congregation drew more than 4,000 people on its first day in 2024. The album features collaborations with Phil Wickham, Hulvey, Elevation Worship, and Pastor Mike Jr., with “Sunday Morning” (featuring Pastor Mike Jr.) among the standout tracks.
Wells’ solo career traces back to 2016, after he co-founded and disbanded the group Royal Tailor. His platinum-certified catalog includes “Known” and “Hills and Valleys”; he also holds Gold certifications for “Take It All Back,” “God’s Not Done With You,” and “Famous For (I Believe).” He has 11 Grammy nominations and eight GMA Dove Awards to his name. In 2025, he released a debut book, Joy Bomb: Unleash Jesus’s Explosive Joy for an Extraordinary Life, which became a No. 1 Amazon New Release and an ECPA bestseller.
The Syracuse show lands one day after Frederick, Maryland, and one night before Wells plays Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
