The Wildwoods at Caffe Lena | July 18, 2026

By Meg Andersen · July 11, 2026

A Saturday afternoon folk show at Caffe Lena is exactly the kind of thing that sounds mellow until you are sitting in that 110-seat room and realize the harmonies coming off the stage have completely stopped your internal monologue. Doors open at 3:30 PM and the show runs 4:00 to 6:00 — which means you can make a full afternoon of it in Saratoga without sacrificing your whole evening.

The Wildwoods are a folk/Americana trio out of Lincoln, Nebraska: husband-and-wife Noah and Chloe Gose — guitar and violin, respectively — plus bassist Andrew Vaggalis. Noah and Chloe started making music together back in 2012 when they were both in middle school, which explains why their three-part harmonies sound so lived-in. Vaggalis officially joined in 2022, and the trio hit their stride fast: FreshGrass Band Competition finalists in 2023, second place in the 2024 Rocky Mountain Songwriting Contest, and shared stages with Sierra Ferrell and Aoife O’Donovan.

Their latest album, Dear Meadowlark (2025), leans into the chamber-folk side of their sound — acoustic instrumentation, layered harmonies, and lyrics that sit right at the intersection of homesickness and gratitude. Chloe has said that constant touring gave the whole band “a new appreciation for home,” and you can hear it in the writing. Americana Highways summed it up neatly: “Their timeless Western sound strikes a special musical place…that kind of music connects us through time & space.”

About the Venue

Caffe Lena is the folk heart of the Capital Region — a 110-seat listening room at 47 Phila Street in Saratoga Springs with a reputation that draws artists and audiences from well beyond the region. At a room this size, every seat is a good seat. One logistical note: Saratoga in mid-July means racing season is fully underway. If you are coming from the south or west, give yourself a buffer on the Northway and sort out parking before you need it.

Tickets

General admission is $30.37, with member pricing at $27.11 and child/student tickets at $15.18. Can’t make the drive? Caffe Lena TV streams the show live for $5, with all proceeds going directly to the artists. Grab tickets at caffelena.org.
