WonkyWilla is 22 years old and headlining his biggest tour. The Florida-based bass producer’s “Wonking On Sunshine” run spans more than 30 North American cities through late 2026 and into early 2027, and Albany’s Empire Underground is the Capital Region’s stop on Saturday, December 12.
About the Show
WonkyWilla (real name Nicholas Olivieri) has built his following in bass music through festival appearances and a growing catalog that includes the Loss of Mind EP and a dubstep remix of Fergee’s “London Bridge” that crossed 150,000 SoundCloud streams. He describes his creative output as “a creative mecca where tasty wubs and wild party bangers come to life.” Tracks like “Orgasmic,” which crossed 300,000 streams on SoundCloud, and “Wook Dancer,” approaching 200,000, helped establish his reputation alongside shared stages with TVBOO, Ahee, Champagne Drip, Super Future, Manic Focus, and LYNY. Festival credits include Lost Lands, Dancefestopia, Same Same But Different, Elements Festival, Valley of the Seven Stars, and Deep Tropics.
The “Wonking On Sunshine” tour marks a step up from earlier headline runs. Magnetic Magazine called it “a significant evolution from underground favorite to one of bass music’s most distinctive live experiences” — momentum built through what the same publication described as high-energy performances, memorable festival appearances, and a commitment to immersive experiences. A recurring element on select tour dates is Strawberry Disco Circus, a collaborator that brings dancers, aerialists, and immersive visuals into the mix, pushing the show past the standard club setup into something closer to a traveling production. No opener for the Albany date has been announced at publication time; the tour features rotating support acts across its schedule.

Venue & Logistics
Empire Underground is at 93 N Pearl St in downtown Albany, a 500-capacity club that keeps the crowd close to the stage — close enough that a bass music set registers as much physically as it does acoustically. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. For anyone making the trip from across the Capital Region, the North Pearl Street location sits in the middle of downtown Albany.
