Breaking Benjamin at Darien Lake Amphitheater | September 10, 2026

There is something almost perversely satisfying about Breaking Benjamin’s persistence. The Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania hard rock outfit endured a messy band dissolution, years of legal disputes over their own name, and an indefinite hiatus before founder Benjamin Burnley reconstituted the group in 2014 with an entirely new lineup — and then proceeded to debut their comeback album Dark Before Dawn at number one on the Billboard 200. That is not the arc of a band coasting on nostalgia. That is a band that fought for its own existence and won. They return to Western New York on Thursday, September 10, 2026, headlining Darien Lake Amphitheater.

About Breaking Benjamin

Breaking Benjamin has been in perpetual motion since reforming. The 2018 follow-up Ember peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, with lead single “Red Cold River” climbing to number two on the Mainstream Rock Songs chart — proof that the reconstituted lineup wasn’t riding past goodwill but building its own. Their 2024 release Awaken — the band’s seventh studio album, out October of that year — extends a run of sustained commercial relevance deep into their third decade as a recording act. It is a longevity that the band’s original dissolution, circa 2010, suggested was unlikely.

Live, the current lineup — Burnley on vocals, Jasen Rauch and Keith Wallen on guitars, Aaron Bruch on bass, and Shaun Foist on drums — is a different machine than the original outfit, but not a lesser one. Recent touring sets draw from the full catalog: “The Diary of Jane,” “Breath,” “So Cold,” “Dear Agony,” and “Failure” alongside material from Awaken. It is a set that rewards both the casual attendee who wants the hits and the longer-term listener who followed the band through its complications. Support acts have not been announced.

About Darien Lake Amphitheater

Darien Lake Amphitheater is Western New York’s largest outdoor amphitheater, holding 21,600, situated at 9993 Alleghany Road in Darien Center — adjacent to Six Flags Darien Lake and operated by Live Nation. It is the region’s default destination for summer touring amphitheater shows of this scale, and on a September evening in Western New York, it offers the kind of late-season open-air setting that makes the end of summer feel earned rather than mourned. Showtime is 6:00 PM.
