Emmaline’s Sinatra, My Sweetheart runs nine Sinatra-era standards through a full big band and string orchestra, then layers in jazz violin lines the originals never imagined. That particular addition is what separates the album from a sophisticated cover project. The Be My Valentine Tour brings it to Daryl’s House in Pawling on Wednesday, February 17, following a 2026 run of 43 completely sold-out shows.
About the Show
The evening draws from Sinatra, My Sweetheart alongside Emmaline’s original love songs and what her team calls “genre-bending covers of romantic classics,” the full program framed as “a candlelit evening filled with romance and roses.” The album, released October 2, 2026, on CurlyCue! Records, spans nine tracks and 29 minutes, featuring Grammy-winning bassist Ben Williams, and includes new readings of “Fly Me to the Moon,” “That’s Life,” and “Just One of Those Things.” The Pawling stop is part of a 12-city January–February 2027 run that includes SFJAZZ in San Francisco, Sony Hall in New York City, and Scullers in Boston.
Emma Campbell, who performs as Emmaline, is a Nashville-based vocalist, violinist, and songwriter who began her career in 2018 sharing acoustic covers and original songs online, building an independent following that now exceeds 500,000 social media supporters and tens of millions of streams. She opened for Chaka Khan on her U.S. tour and made her film debut in Sweetwater (2023, over 1,200 theaters), portraying jazz singer Jeanne Staples and recording a soundtrack duet with Gary Clark Jr. for that film. Spotify named her “Best Vocal Jazz of 2023”; her work has been featured in Rolling Stone and American Songwriter. Her live playing has been described as combining a “smoky, jazz-infused, genre-fluid voice” with “virtuosic, jaw-dropping jazz violin melodies” — a pairing that gives the Sinatra program its distinctive character.
Venue & Logistics
Daryl’s House opened in 2014 in Pawling, in the Hudson Valley, as a physical extension of Daryl Hall’s Webby Award-winning web series Live from Daryl’s House. The club’s intimate setting and what it describes as “a killer sound system” put a Sinatra-era program exactly where it belongs: close enough to hear the details that disappear in a larger hall. The Pawling date arrives the night after Emmaline’s New York City stop at Sony Hall. Doors at 5:00 p.m.; show at 7:00 p.m. All ages.
