Hindley Street Country Club arrives at Kodak Center in Rochester on Wednesday, August 5 at 7:30 PM — the latest stop on a U.S. national tour that has already wound through Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, and New York City before landing upstate. For a band that built its entire following through weekly YouTube uploads, the fact that they are now filling theaters across the country is a story worth paying attention to.
About Hindley Street Country Club
Founded in 2017 by arranger and producer Constantine Delo, Hindley Street Country Club began as a collective of Adelaide musicians re-arranging classic rock, soul, and pop covers and uploading them to YouTube every Friday morning. That discipline compounded. The band has now accumulated over 590 million YouTube views, more than one million subscribers, and over a billion views across social media platforms — numbers that place them among the most-watched live music acts operating today, regardless of origin.
The name itself is part of the project’s identity. Hindley Street sits in the centre of Adelaide, a strip historically home to pubs, tattoo shops, motorcycle gangs, amusement arcades, and a steady flow of late-night traffic — a world many of the musicians in HSCC were playing in, literally, during the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s. There is no actual country club on Hindley Street. That is the in-joke.
What distinguishes the band technically is how they record. Every track is captured live in a single take, with everyone in the same room. No PA system, no foldback speakers — the singers monitor themselves through Shure in-ear monitors to keep the room as acoustically isolated as possible for the mix. It is a choice that reflects a clear philosophy: the performance leads, the production follows.
Before this U.S. run, HSCC played the Singapore Grand Prix and Manila in 2024, then toured the United States and Brazil in early 2025. The current North American leg will be followed by Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom, with South America, Japan, and Southeast Asia dates still to be announced. The operation is no longer a YouTube channel with a touring component — it is the other way around.
