Town Ballroom is a 1,000-capacity standing-room floor in the heart of Buffalo, and on Thursday, May 7, it belongs to Jim Norton. Doors are at 7:00 PM — and with a comedian who has been earning crowds for over 30 years, getting there when the doors open is the right call.
About Jim Norton
Norton threw his first open mic in April 1990 in Sayreville, New Jersey, and he has barely slowed down since. That road time shows up in every set — he is a comedian who knows exactly where he is in a room at all times. His latest special, Unconceivable 2025, is on YouTube right now if you want to see what you are walking into. The catalog runs back through Mouthful of Shame, Contextually Inadequate, American Degenerate, and Please Be Offended, with specials spread across Netflix, MAX, Hulu, and Amazon.
Beyond the stage, Norton co-hosts Jim Norton & Sam Roberts on SiriusXM, runs the advice call-in podcast Jim Norton Can’t Save You, co-hosts UFC Unfiltered with Jim Norton & Matt Serra — the official UFC podcast — and the Sword Fight podcast with his wife Nikki. He is also a two-time New York Times bestselling author (Happy Endings: The Tales of a Meaty-Breasted Zilch and I Hate Your Guts) and has a screen credit in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman. The live show is its own thing separate from all of it.
This is a 16+ show. Plan accordingly.
