Nickelback has spent years being used against itself. The memes, the critical pile-on, the cultural shorthand for a certain kind of early-2000s rock radio ubiquity: all of it shadowed a band that kept filling arenas regardless, and eventually became the subject of a Netflix documentary, Hate to Love: Nickelback, that spent weeks in the platform’s global Top 10. Their eleventh studio album, Everything Under the Sun, arrives October 30, and the Buffalo stop of the world tour on March 24 comes with a real milestone attached: “Rattle the Cage,” their John 5 collaboration, is the band’s first No. 1 at Active Rock radio in over a decade.
About the Show
The Everything Under the Sun Tour runs nearly 70 dates across North America, the UK, Europe, and Australia, a full arena-cycle production with a North American leg stretching from February through early May 2027. Direct support comes from English four-piece Don Broco, a booking with actual connective tissue: Nickelback appeared on Don Broco’s 2026 album Nightmare Tripping on the title track. Broco’s mix of metal, post-hardcore, and electronica brings something to the room before the headliner takes it over.
The album is Nickelback’s first for Virgin Music Group. Alongside “Rattle the Cage,” the record features “Leave Me Behind” and “Make Me Love You.” The band describes the record as spanning both the harder and more vulnerable ends of their sound, a range the Canadian quartet from Hanna, Alberta, has spent a career navigating.
For a band that Billboard named its top musical group of the decade in 2009, having a No. 1 single back on the charts gives the world tour actual momentum going into arenas. The scope confirms it: North America through early May, then UK and Europe through July, then Australia in October.

The show lands at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, the primary indoor arena for the western New York region, with doors at 5:30 p.m. and the performance starting at 6:30 p.m.
