WROC — short for Washington’s Rules of Civility — is his first vocal album since 2016’s I Can Destroy, released February 27, 2026 on Music Theories Recordings. The concept is exactly as strange and fun as it sounds: George Washington’s etiquette guide turned into rock anthems, blending “classic metal riffage and ZZ Top boogie blues” with humor, history, and Gilbert’s signature blazing guitar work. He called it “one of the most musical and listenable albums I’ve ever done” — and said he cannot wait to play it live. A melody-first record from someone who has always had more to say than technique alone.
Support comes from Greg Koch — a Milwaukee guitarist with 15 albums and over 50 million views on his instructional video series for Wildwood Guitars. He has been called “one of the most famous unknown guitar players in the world,” which is exactly the kind of opener you want for a night like this.
