Ventana at Empire Underground | November 22, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · August 30, 2026

Ventana has spent nearly two decades building a touring reputation on the industrial metal circuit, a Cleveland outfit co-founded by members of Mushroomhead, Dope, and Wednesday 13 that has consistently shown up in rooms like Empire Underground and made the most of them. The Saints of Sickness Tour, an 18-date co-headlining run with Montreal’s Deadly Apples, stops in Albany on Sunday, November 22.

About the Show

The bill carries more pedigree than the venue tier might suggest. Ventana was established by Richard “Stitch” Thomas (Mushroomhead, Crossbreed, A Killer’s Confession) and Daniel Fox (Mushroomhead, Dope, Wednesday 13). Nearly two decades of industrial metal touring has put them on stages alongside Fear Factory, Static-X, Powerman 5000, and Hellyeah, with Rockstar Mayhem Festival appearances on the resume and named tours—the Slaughterhouse Roadshow, the Carnival of Chaos—that trace the same club-circuit geography. The engine of their live show is a dual-vocal arrangement, with Scott Beck handling the aggressive work (growls, screams, bars) while Eric Hess provides what one critic called “eerie, spine-tingling” melodic contrast. “The two-singer attack,” as Metal Nexus noted, “is a dynamic that pops in front of the punishing riffs and drums.” Their current single, “Iron Over Blood,” arrived with a music video ahead of this run.

Co-headliner Deadly Apples brings its own international resume: Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Korn, Deftones, and Rammstein, plus festival slots at Hellfest and Knotfest. The Montreal duo, vocalist Alex Martel and programmer Antoine Lamothe, released “Volatile,” featuring Richard Patrick of Filter and Danny Lohner of Nine Inch Nails, which crossed one million streams and earned selection at the Berlin Music Video Awards. Aeternum, a female-fronted act combining electro, pop, and metal, opens all 18 dates on the tour behind their single “Knives at Midnight.” VIP packages are available through Ventana’s website, with early entry and a hangout with the band included.
