Floydian Trip: The Pink Floyd Experience at Paramount Hudson Valley | November 14, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · October 12, 2026

Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters era — 1973 to 1981, from Dark Side of the Moon through The Wall — produced some of rock’s most ambitious concert productions: shows built around immersive visual and audio environments that set the standard for arena-scale theatrical staging. That same material has drawn tribute acts ever since, with results that range from illuminating to forgettable. Floydian Trip, a seven-member ensemble out of Connecticut, has spent several years building the case that they belong in the former category.

About the Show

The Connecticut-based band arrives at Paramount Hudson Valley on Nov. 14 as part of the Echoes Through Time 2026 Tour, a two-hour production spanning Pink Floyd’s early psychedelic period through the stadium-filling 1980s, concentrating on the Roger Waters years (1973 to 1981) and drawing from the Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, In the Flesh, and The Wall tours. The setlist pairs fan favorites with catalog material deeper than most tribute acts bother with, surfacing corners of Pink Floyd’s concert history that rarely come up on the tribute circuit.

Formed in 2022 and built through multi-state touring across New England and the Mid-Atlantic, the band carries a “New England’s Premier Pink Floyd Experience” billing and the Best Band prize from the 2025 Best of Hartford readers’ poll. Their seven members approach the material with the kind of preparation that gets noted in the venues that book them: thousands of hours of official, unofficial, and bootleg Pink Floyd recordings, studied to achieve what this tour’s venue listings describe as “clinical precision.” The production layers projections, lasers, lights, and films over that musicological foundation to recreate the visual environment of the original shows, the kind of total sensory environment that made a Pink Floyd concert, in its peak touring decade, unlike anything else on the road.

Venue & Logistics

Paramount Hudson Valley, at 1008 Brown St. in Peekskill, is a 1,024-seat theater. An enclosed room of that scale handles production-heavy projection and laser work better than the open-air contexts where this type of show loses its visual definition; the controlled environment matters when the production is as integral as the music. The show is Saturday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. The Hudson Valley stop follows the band’s Nov. 7 date in Gloversville, N.Y.
