Killers of Kill Tony at Kodak Center | May 1, 2026

By Meg Andersen · May 6, 2026

If you have been sleeping on Kill Tony, here is your Rochester entry point. Killers of Kill Tony brings its live podcast stage show to Kodak Center on Friday, May 1 at 7:00 PM. A few things to know before you go: this is an 18-and-over show, cameras and recording devices stay in your pocket, and the format tends to run anywhere between 90 minutes and two-plus hours — plan your evening accordingly.

About the Show

Kill Tony launched in June 2013 in Austin, Texas as a weekly live podcast hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe and co-founder Brian Redban. The concept is deceptively simple: amateur comedians draw from a bucket, perform a one-minute set, and get immediate feedback — warm or withering — from Hinchcliffe and a rotating panel of working comics. Twelve years in, it has built a following that multiple sources now call the #1 live podcast in the world.

Killers of Kill Tony is the touring spin-off, built around the format but designed to give the regulars more stage time. Past rosters have included David Lucas, Hans Kim, Martin Phillips, Timmy No Brakes, and Ari Matti — though lineups vary by city, so go for the format and the energy, not a guaranteed set of names.

Hinchcliffe is the anchor. He is recognized as one of the top roasters in the world, appeared on Netflix’s Roast of Tom Brady, and sold out two nights at Madison Square Garden in 2024. A live house band keeps things moving between sets, celebrity guests show up unannounced, and audience members occasionally end up on stage. No two nights run the same way — that unpredictability is the whole point.

The Venue

Kodak Center is a 2,400-seat theater at 200 W Ridge Rd in Rochester — the right scale for a show where audience reaction is half the format. Not a comedy club, not an arena. The room fits. Check the Kodak Center website ahead of time for parking and arrival logistics, especially on a Friday night.
