Country music’s most decorated touring act of the current era brings the Word On The Street Tour to CMAC this August — and for Finger Lakes summer concert-goers, it’s the kind of booking that needs very little selling. Luke Bryan at an outdoor amphitheater in Canandaigua is exactly the show it sounds like: big, crowd-fluent, and executed with the precision of an operation that has been performing at this scale for years.
The tour draws its name from Bryan’s current single, “Word On The Street,” released February 20, 2026 — title track and opening statement for a touring cycle that launched May 29. Whether the new material earns its place alongside the catalog on a summer stage is the interesting question; Bryan’s live show has historically leaned on the hits, and with 32 number-one singles behind him, there are enough to fill an evening without repeating yourself. He arrives here with 27 billion global streams and 12 million album sales, a five-time Entertainer of the Year who has outlasted every trend that was supposed to replace him.
Supporting the evening are Drew Baldridge, Lanie Gardner, Lauren Watkins, and DJ Rock — a full card that signals the production is treating this as a destination event rather than a quick regional stop.
